National and Metro Area Long Range Forecasts of Industry Sales by Customer Type

The MetroCast database forecasts electrical distributor industry sales for 150 MSAs by customer type, showing two years of history and a five year annual forecast. The customer types are distributor sales to contractors, industrials, utilities and the institutional markets. MetroCast contains annual data but is updated quarterly to capture changes in the key economic indicators impacting the MSA and national industry performance. It is online and can be accessed with a user ID and password. It can be downloaded in Excel or CSV format.

	The new MetroCast™ annual long range forecast was updated on 10/17/08 to incorporate recent changes in the key short and long range economic indicators and contains actual National and MSA industry data by customer type including 2007 and forecasts from 2008 through 2012. Subscribers can login and view the new outlook.
